With just over a week until Bird Brain is published in the UK (4th Aug), I’m posting my original illustrations from the book, chapter-by-chapter. When you all (hopefully) buy the book, you will see how much or how little the published versions have changed from my originals. I probably spent as much time working on the illustrations as I did on the text (and some of you may think that’s no surprise when you read it). Anyway, here are the originals from the Introduction and Chapter 1. I’ll continue posting the rest over the next 10 days.
