My childhood dream of writing a book – that’s actually available in bookshops – has come true. Bird Brain is finally published today after a seemingly long gestation period. It’s with a mixture of excitement and trepidation that I see it go out into the world, as I’ve put so much work into it – both writing the text, and designing and drawing the illustrations. I’m very proud of it and hope you enjoy reading it (and looking at the pictures). It looks so beautiful because of the fantastic team at Ivy Press; Susan Kelly, Jamie Pumfrey, Wayne Blades, Alison Stevens, Jacqui Sayers, Tom Kitch & Jayne Ansell who really believed in it & especial mention to Graham Robson for providing me with so many opportunities to tell the world about my book.
